Hand Knit Baby Girl Sweater, Petal Pink White Lace, 3-6 Months; Short Sleeve New Baby Sweater I made a new baby sweater about 2 weeks ago! I purchased a new pattern I found and it turned out absolutely great! This was made in a #3 weight DK yarn in Petal Pink and White with a lacey top portion and a standard knit bottom half with short sleeves. This is a light weight spring or fall sweater for a 3-6 month old, but I usually try to make my baby items with a little positive ease and length so the item can be used a little longer. That will always depend upon how fast the baby grows and how big the baby is when born! For more images or to purchase this beautiful sweater, just click here or the image above. What's New Well, since the passing of my buddy Roger , I've been trying to keep myself busy with my Etsy Shop and things around the house. But, it's been difficult not having him around. How to Care for Handmade Yarn Items so They Will Last for Many Years!

Image
Introduction: Caring for Handmade Items Caring for handmade knit/crochet yarn items can be very easy if you follow some simple instructions, and your items will be able to last for many years to come. Before we get to washing your adorable keepsake items, you must first know exactly what type of yarn the item was made from. I believe most other sellers will do the same, but if you were given an handmade item and you do not know the type of yarn used in the making of the item, then always  follow the handwashing and air drying instructions, with for example,  Fine Fabric Wash 3.3 Oz: Lavender ,   as a precaution.  Never Use The Following There are things that should never be used   or done on any handmade yarn ite...

Hello! I'm Back After A Very Long Break.

Here's my first blog post in about four or five years! I can't believe it's been that long. I took a break from selling on Etsy about 3 years ago and let my website and domain go. I just could not afford it any more with trying to keep up with my health; Rheumatoid arthritis and a lot of back issues. Everything was just too much especially with trying to keep up with customer orders, I just gave up. Now its been about two weeks since my best friend Roger passed away, my dog, and I have decided to re-open my Etsy shop  and take things very slowly. I am feeling much better now especially after changing my meds around for the arthritis and treatments for my spine issues and also better meds for that. I am not going to do special custom orders this time around nor pay for a website or do all the social media marketing. I'm just going to take it slow and if I can sell my items, great! If I don't, then I won't lose a ton of money trying to kill myself for nothing! ...
